STOMP can use your help to enable us to build our STOMP
Group! Below is a list of items we can use:
Instruments
- Clean metal 30-40 gal. trash cans and
trash can lids
- Clean plastic or metal barrels (20-50
gal sizes)
- Wood doweling 1"-1 1/2" cut into 8" lengths
- Cut wood 2x4's shaped into squares or triangles
about 3" at widest point. New 2x4's uncut ok, too.
- Sandpaper. We will staple the sandpaper onto the
wood pieces and make an instrument played by rubbing two
pieces together to make a shuffling sound.
- Plastic bottles from Sparklett's or Arrowhead water
coolers.
- Whistles
- Kazoos
- Pots, pans and metal bowls (clean - stained ok)
- Hubcaps
- Metal wash buckets
- Nuts and bolts
Supplies
- Each child will make his or her own Instrument Box

that mimic the sounds of the jungle. For the Squawking
Parrot we need:

- Masking tape
- Paper or plastic wrap
- Multi-colored rubber bands
- Popsicle sticks
- Push pins
